What do you do when it warms up in Fairbanks?
Nothing.
The trouble with it warming up (30 and above) is that things melt but not in the same way in which they melt and disappear like in normal other places. Here, the roads become slushy and then re-freeze and it’s a messy soup that’s just not worth the risk of driving in. Fairbanks is an unsettling display of bent fenders, t-boned doors, and cracked windshields. No thanks.
So today, it’s the 3 C’s: collage, cleaning and Christmas cards.
